Over the years I have visited the Severn Valley to photograph a variety of both steam and diesel locomotives.
Having gone through the archives I've selected 20 images which I have turned into greeting cards. measuring 135mm x 135mm they are printed on canvas paper which adds a touch of quality to the cards.
Hope they are of interest and will be on sale soon in the store!
We are pleased to be launching a new service specifically, but not exclusively aimed at Preservation Groups, Trusts, Societies and Clubs who wish to build their brand through promotional merchandise.
Not only does it raise wider awareness to potential supporters but importantly can be a method of generating funds for much needed projects.
There is a huge range of products to choose from including mugs, coasters, keyrings, cufflinks, lapel badges, in fact many more too numerous to mention although we are working on a list of items which will be available to download soon.
On December 22nd 2017 I was invited along to take photographs of the Heavy Tractor Group's newly acquired Class 37/7 diesel locomotive 37 714 which was handed over from Direct Rail Services.
Having recently been resprayed at Derby it was resplendent in railfreight triple grey metals livery to denote the colour scheme the locomotive carried in the late 1980's, early '90's.
This day saw the hand-over between the two parties at the Great Central Railways' Loughborough Station where the locomotive is based.
Many thanks to Andy Gillett (Chairman of HTG) for inviting me along and also to the group's band of dedicated and welcoming volunteers. facebook
